My 200th Etsy Sale!

A few weeks ago, Etsy informed me that I’ve made my 200th sale through my shop, the Odd Bee! As of today, I’ve made 16 more. I am so humbled and grateful for the support! I also have a five star rating, with 87 perfect ratings.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had two perpetual passions: collecting things, and making things. My Etsy store makes these hobbies possible for me. I decorate my apartment with most of the things that I have listed on my Etsy; then when I sell an item, I get to replace it with something new!

I have been an Etsy seller for more than 10 years. I’ve had a few accounts over the years, but this one has by far been the most successful.

I keep an eclectic mix of vintage and handmade items stocked in my shop. I sell things that are interesting to me. I love to frequent antique shops, resale stores, and flea markets. My absolute FAVORITE thing to collect is vintage rubber toys, but I also sell other toys, paper goods, housewares.. anything I find that is interesting to me!

I also LOVE to make things. Lately I like to sew stuffed animals, needle felt, and make wreaths, but I also sell my hand embroidery, collage art, weaving and some other small sewing projects. I am most inspired by upcycled projects; I enjoy taking something old and giving it a new life by re-purposing it. Sometimes it can be cathartic just to hot glue things together.

Link me to your Etsy store in the comments! I’d love to see what you make, collect, and sell!

  1. That is awesome! 200 seems so far away to me as I have only sold 11 so far (mine are invitations). Congrats on hitting such a big accomplishment!
