FINALLY! Wide calf boots that fit my big ol’ legs!
I had heard nothing but great reviews about the Riding Boot from Part & Parcel so I don’t know why it took me so long to snag a pair. Part & Parcel uses dynamic sizing on many of its garments, meaning they’ll have the regular size of the piece and an extra dimension in an area that’s traditionally hard to fit on a fat girl. These boots come in three calf diameters. This pair in particular is a size 9 1/2 with the largest leg circumference, 24″. I was surprised at how roomy they are! I haven’t tried it yet, but I could even wear these with pants tucked in.
I have my eye on some actual clothing from Part & Parcel. Their tie neck blouse would be cute with the faux leather pencil skirt. I also have my eye on their block heel ankle strap pumps, as if I need another pair of shoes.
I went with comfort for my top, just a plain black t-shirt from Target. My skirt is the Just This Sway velvet skater skirt from Modcloth.
I bought these tights from Lane Bryant a couple of years ago but they’re still current on the site. I try to be gentle on my tights but these diagonal plaid tights have lasted a really long time! They have a couple of snags at this point but I wear my tights until they disintegrate entirely.
