Once I find a dress that I like, I tend to hang on to it. This sapphire colored bodycon dress has been a favorite of mine for years. I bought it at Forever 21 on clearance in 2016 so it isn’t on the site anymore. It’s velvet and has a light geographic burnout print.
I don’t think this is something I’d wear out of the house, but it has sated my desire for a fancy, flowy dressing gown. I like to wear it while I’m getting ready to go out.
Who can deny the allure of velvet this time of year? It’s the perfect texture for fall: rich, warm, and plush. It is hands down the sexiest trend the season. These are nine of my favorite current plus size velvet pieces.
In late September I came across this cute, witchy dress made by artist Brett Manning. I saw it on Brett’s Instagram and knew it would fit my style perfectly! This was a limited time pre-order and was purchased through Brett’s Etsy.
