Imbolc is on February 1st, which is just two weeks away. This pagan holiday celebrates the returning of the sun. This is a time to think about reconnecting with nature and prepare yourself for the coming spring.

Simple Witchcraft: Gemini Moon Water

Moon water is water that has been charged by the full moon. The moon water can be given different properties based on the astrological sign associated with the current moon. (This is a great resourceΒ that tells you which properties each astrological sign most signifies.)

This month, the full moon is in Gemini as of 12:39 AM Eastern on Friday November 23rd, so you’ll want to leave this out overnight on Thursday the 22nd.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Independent Designer Spotlight: Marcy Kentz Jewelry

I have been enamored with Marcy Kentz’s jewelry since I came across it on her Instagram last year. Her jewelry designs juxtapose sacred geometry and nature in a modern, witchy way. Her pieces are talismans full of esoteric symbolism, perfect for any witch’s wardrobe.

I received her moon phase & skull moth necklace as a gift for Christmas last year, and her all seeing eye amulet necklace last month for my birthday.

Marcy writes a note inside every jewelry package, making it that much more special.

Magic in the Mailbox: Ostara Edition

It certainly doesn’t feel like it here on the east coast, but it’s officially spring! Ostara was Tuesday March 20th. It was also the first day of our most recent snowstorm, the fourth this month!

I was snowed in and wasn’t feeling very springy, so I kept my celebration small and quiet. I did some light cleaning around my apartment. I lovingly planted some tomato seeds. I cleaned and freshened up my altar, which I keep in my living room.

Etsy Treasury 2.0: Gifts for Your Witchy Valentine

I really miss Treasuries on Etsy! The feature allowed users to make curated collections, or Treasuries, to share with the Etsy community; these hand-picked lists of items generally followed a theme. The best Treasuries had interesting, multi-faceted themes. Seeing what cool combinations other users thought up was fun, and discovering new shops was an added bonus!

Treasuries were discontinued in October 2016.Β You can still see the existing Treasuries here. Miraculously, some of the items in are still for sale more than a year later!

So, this is my independent Etsy Treasury 2.0.Β All of the photos used here come from the listing for the item. None of these are affiliate links. These are just things that I came across in my virtual window shopping.
